The following Cromartie kilns are currently in stock. These are new kilns and carry our guarantee and we continue to manufacture elements and supply spares for our kilns. Workhorse 270WH top loading electric kiln.

  • Maximum temperature 1300°C.
  • Capacity: 270 litres (9.6 cu.ft.)
  • Firing chamber 710 mm (28") diam x 640 mm (25") high.
  • External dimensions: 1100mm width x 1000mm depth x 1190mm high.
  • Loading 14.0 kW. 1phase 50amp or 3 phase 20-amps per phase supply.

  • Supplied with ST315 digital programme control system.

Complete with base shelves only please specify your requirements for kiln furniture. The lid is built on a separate framework to prevent wear and movement of bricks when opened and closed. It is supported by gas struts for easy opening. Fitted with lockable castors.

Controller ST315

The ST315 is included with these stock kilns. It is very easy to use and has the ability to run very sophisticated programs; it is therefore useful not only for straightforward ceramic firing but also for the more complex programs for example glass. Please ask for full specifications.
