Together we have designed a kiln that fully complies with the stringent European requirements for Health & Safety. Interlocked lid safety switches are incorporated and the controller has over-temperature safety devices and error diagnostics for peace-of-mind firings.

Delivery
Skutt kilns are delivered packed on a pallet, to speed delivery and keep costs down they are delivered by a pallet carrier who will deliver the kiln to the door but will not position it in your studio. You will therefore need some assistance to unpack and move the kiln into position. Pallet delivery to most mainland UK destinations is £87.00. (£50 for the KM714). If you need to have the kiln positioned for you or have difficult access please call we can usually find a solution.
The sectional, modular design can be disassembled and put back together for delivery to location where access is restricted. It is important to discuss with our technical department before disabling a kiln to ensure warranty is not affected.
