About Cromartie Hobbycraft

Cromartie began life over 60 years ago, designing and manufacturing kilns for commercial, educational and hobby applications. In 2000 we celebrated our 50th Year as a limited company, although the founder, Norman Bosson, was making kilns for several years before the company was formed.

Cromartie Hobbycraft continues to be a family firm, run by Tim and Amanda Bosson, and remains committed to giving value to our customers.

We continually scour the world for the best in ceramic equipment and materials, regularly adding new suppliers to our already extensive list of manufacturers. We offer a wide range of supplies for painting pottery cafes, hobby ceramic studios, mobile studios, finished ware producers, educational services and private customers, not only in the UK but worldwide. Some of our key products include a full range of bisque, fired colours including underglazes and glazes, stains, brushes, sprays, recipes, andliterature. For the potter we also have a selection of potters tools, wheels, machinery and studio equipment as well as clay.
